Because I am constantly seeking out fresh business card designs and ideas, the "Google" business card isn't new to me but it may be to you. As a business, I sponsored the Shift new media conference in Greenville, NC last month and created a "contact" card as much as a business card.
As you can see, it focused on my name as the centerpiece. This conference was an opportunity to connect with others and not so much to promote my business.
Secondly, I highlighted the services I wanted associated with my name.
Then there are the multiple options to connect in the preferred way.
I tried to make it fun. Mimicking a Google search as closely as possible with "just one result" and the color choices of the copy.
It had great reviews at the conference and I've continued to use it the last couple of weeks.
Hope Google doesn't get pissed.
